Squid Fist is an improvisational trio consisting of Casey Deming (electronics, tapes), Bryce Beverlin II (percussion, voice), and Tim Glenn (electronics, drums). Forged in the fires of underground venues in June of 2006, Squid Fist explores textural and visceral aspects of free improvisation to create music which spans genres of noise, metal, and microsound. Their studio recorded CD "Face/Off," released on Hidden Birdhouse in 2007, a hand-full of self-released tapes, and most recently their live track "Hallway" on Heavy Focus III CD released by local label Small Doses are a few of the multitude of recordings available at:
